Formed in San Francisco in 1994, Train quickly developed an avid local following due to its creation of rock songs with perfect pop licks. Several years later, the single, "Meet Virginia," from the group’s debut album, Train, led the band to a four week stay at #1 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart. Train followed up that success with the CD, Drops Of Jupiter in 2001, winning “Best Song” and “Best Arrangement” Grammy awards for the title track. The release of My Private Nation in 2003 achieved RIAA double-platinum status thanks in part to the double Grammy-nominated #1 smash "Calling All Angels." The band's new album entitled, For Me, It's You, is described by Rolling Stone magazine as, “Train's strongest set of tracks to date."
