Peter Frampton

Born in England, Frampton scored a handful of British teenybopper hits with the band, The Herd, and was named "The Face of 1968" by the UK press. By 1969, he formed Humble Pie and after five moderately successful albums went solo in 1971. After recording three albums and touring relentlessly the hard work finally paid off in 1976 with the astonishing success of Frampton Comes Alive!, a double live album featuring the smash hits, “Do You Feel Like We Do?,” “Baby I Love Your Way” and “Show Me The Way.” The record was on top of the U.S. charts for a total of 10 weeks and became the biggest-selling live album in history with over 16 million copies. He quickly became an international star and was named Rolling Stone Magazine's “Artist of the Year” in 1976. Soon after, Frampton returned to the studio and released I'm In You, seeing the album and same-titled single reach platinum and #1 respectively.

The eighties and nineties found Frampton releasing critically acclaimed albums, playing lead guitarist on David Bowie’s Glass Spider World Tour, appearing on VH-1's Hard Rock Live series and writing music for and acting in the Cameron Crowe movie Almost Famous. In 2003, Frampton released his first studio album in nine years called Now which featured the radio hit, "Verge Of A Thing" as well as a classic remake of the Beatles, "While My Guitar Gently Weeps." Most recently, he appeared at the 6th annual Jammy Awards and will be a special guest when the Cincinnati Pops kick-off their upcoming season.
