Always taking delight challenging the parameters of the mainstream music world, Bruce Hornsby emerged on the music scene twenty years ago with his triple-platinum debut album, The Way it Is, which generated three Top 20 hits, including its #1 title track, and earned Hornsby the “Best New Artist” Grammy in 1986. Since that time, he has recorded eight more albums -- ranging from pop, to jazz, to bluegrass and soul -- which have sold more than 10 million copies worldwide and earned him two more Grammy awards in 1989 and 1993. Hornsby is busy as ever with a box set and an R&B bluegrass record due out this year and plans for the release of a jazz album in 2007.
