Bo Bice

Bo Bice was born in Huntsville, Alabama in 1975 and raised in the south by his song-singing, instrument-playing parents. He was involved in the local music scene ever since high school, writing songs, recording, producing and playing in bands. In 2005, every personal and professional dream he kept alive throughout the years come true as he went from guitar-store manager to Fox’s American Idol finalist. According to ratings by Nielsen, FOX's “American Idol” was the most-watched show on television when Bice had his near-win. He lost to country singer Carrie Underwood by 134 votes.

Signed to RCA Records soon after the show, Bice's first single, released last June, was his version of "Inside Your Heaven." The single debuted at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. The B-side was his rendition of the Ides of March hit "Vehicle", featuring an appearance by Richie Sambora. Bice's solo debut album, The Real Thing, was released last December and sold more than 227,000 copies in its first week and opened at #4. Produced by legend Clive Davis, the record has several original songs and also features collaborations between Bo and eight different producers and songwriters. The popular title track receiving extensive radio play, “The Real Thing,” is a classic epic pop song.
